Alethea Bradley is a senior lecturer in tourism management within the Business School's Tourism, Hospitality & Events Group. Alethea gained her bachelors degree from the University of Teesside in 1992, and her Masters degree in Tourism Policy and Management from the University of Birmingham in 1993. She has been lecturing at the university for 15 years mainly in tourism geography, visitor management and socio-cultural impacts of tourism. She has co-organised and participated in a number of field visits both at home and abroad, including Thailand and The Gambia. She enjoys the challenge of lecturing in the classroom but is especially keen on student participation where possible. Alethea's main research area is youth tourism and club culture.
